The goal is not inclusion. The goal is belonging.

The Invited In Church Network wants to encourage churches in Northeast Ohio to know and believe the Biblical mandate to be a place of belonging for everyone, regardless of ability, who may come through the doors of their church.

Through the Invited In Church Network, our primary focus is disability. We want pastors and leaders of the local church to understand that if their church is not a place of belonging for those with disabilities and their families, their church is lacking. They are missing out.

Local churches will be invited to several luncheons per year to be equipped in, and receive, disability education and encouragement. All denominations will come together unified under the theme of disability to reflect God’s Kingdom in Northeast Ohio!

The Invited In Church Network wants the church to reflect God’s heart accurately and without reservation to those with disabilities and their families by:

• Becoming churches of belonging
• Recognizing the unique and beautiful gifts people with disabilities and their families bring to the body of Christ
• Striving to be more like Jesus in how we respond to and view disability
• Believing that people with disabilities and their families are essential to the body of Christ
• Leading the world by example – modeling the value, dignity, and worth that every person with a disability has because they are image bearers of God
